Description : Project Planner

French as primary language would be greatly appreciated for the position.

The Field Services Coordinator / Planner is responsible for scheduling the execution of Field Services operations at customer sites. This role ensures that all parts, tools, instructions, and order details are available to the Field Services workforce and that the closest, qualified FSR (Field Service Representative) is scheduled for the job to meet customer requirements and optimize workforce utilization. The role involves interacting with end customers, so strong communication skills are essential.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Check / enrich Work Orders to be scheduled in bridge Field Services (bFS) or other systems.
  • Assess urgency / requested date, customer information, correct installed base, scope of work, T&C, and time to execute.
  • Ensure Work Orders are created automatically or by Order Management or Technical Support (CCC).
  • Prepare and prioritize interventions in backlog based on customer type (VIP Gold / Strategic / non-VIP), SLAs, customer availability, spare parts, and FSR or subcontractor availability.
  • Assign work orders for the next 3 months, balancing customer requirements, material delivery, and FSR availability, while maximizing FSR utilization by minimizing travel, idle time, and overtime, and grouping nearby interventions when possible.
  • Understand that optimized scheduling directly impacts Field Services Profit & Loss.
  • Proactively communicate with customers to confirm intervention details and remind FSRs of constraints (safety, equipment, permits, access, timing, reports, de-briefing).
  • Monitor the execution of interventions, reschedule or cancel if necessary, support FSRs remotely, and maintain Work Order data quality.
  • For non-connected external technicians, complete work orders on their behalf.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Field Services Execution team, and develop improvement plans based on dashboards, focusing on scheduling optimization and capacity planning.

Opportunities for progression :

  • Scheduler : Trained in Work Order Scheduling, selecting appropriate FSRs based on established procedures.
  • Planner : Knowledgeable in scheduling both planned and unplanned work, able to prioritize and make decisions considering FSR availability, customer impact, and SLAs.
  • Planner Coordinator : Expert in planning complex scenarios, mentoring teams, monitoring KPIs, and coordinating with various departments.

Experience

  • Knowledge of Field Service Business preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Experience in Customer Care Centers preferred.
