Job summary

BV Glazing in Ontario is seeking a Junior Project Operations Manager to join our in-house team in Niagara Falls. You will lead Tendering, Design, Engineering, Procurement, Production and Site activities for contracted projects with a hands-on, can-do attitude.

You will collaborate with the tendering team to scope features, help with pricing, review drawings for buildability, and ensure budgets and timelines are aligned across departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive experience in Unitized Curtain Wall construction/Design and Manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, serving with a sense of urgency
• Customer focused, self-motivated, strong communication, organizational skills, Multi-task, detail oriented; strong analytical skills and accuracy
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the in-house project team (Tendering, Design and Engineering, Procurement, Production and Site teams) for the assigned contract or section of contract.
• Work with the tendering team on scoping out specific features offered on our system
• Assist in getting accurate pricing when necessary for specific scopes
• Drawings reviews pre-submittal to ensure economical build ability of our systems
• Coordinate with Design and Engineering to review feasibility and constructability and pricing
