Summit Search Group has been retained by our client to recruit their next Project Manageran individual whose DNA is wired for leadership, execution, and results.

Our client is a vertically integrated design-builder, self-performing key trades such as concrete and framing. They are committed to delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Position:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing custom home construction from inception to completion. This role demands a performance-driven mindset, ensuring every project is delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and to specifications. The right candidate will be an expert in scheduling, budgeting, and trade coordination, knowing when to encourage and when to drive teams across the finish line. Each project that you successfully manage to completion earns you a bonus, rewarding your ability to meet objectives successfully.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and proactive communication.
• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and controlled.
• Create, manage, and adjust project schedules, ensuring seamless sequencing of work.
• Lead all phases of construction, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to optimize workflow.
• Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, ideally within custom homebuilding.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget while maintaining quality.
• Proficiency in Builder trend is a significant advantage; MS Project experience is required.
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, building timelines, and trade management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
