Job summary

Civica Infrastructure Inc. in Vaughan, ON is seeking a Project Manager for Wet Weather Flow Reduction to lead I/I reduction projects, manage budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders. The role emphasizes technical leadership and client relations within a dynamic consulting environment.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in civil/water resources engineering, a P.Eng. or progression toward designation, and strong experience in project management, reporting, and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering.
• P.Eng. in Ontario or working toward designation.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with client engagement and business development.
• Familiarity with Inflow/Infiltration (I/I) reduction strategies, flow and rainfall monitoring, SSES, hydraulic & hydrologic modelling & analyses.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Valid G-class driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead task on I/I reduction projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Write/review technical reports and design briefs.
• Review development of surface drainage, sewer collection, hydrologic and hydraulic models.
• Plan and manage field investigations for SSES.
• Prepare preliminary design briefs, contract specifications, tender documents, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with approval agencies and prepare agency applications.
• Contribute to proposal development with the Business Unit Leader.
• Oversee technical work of Project Analysts and mentor team members.

Wet Weather Flow Reduction Project Manager (WWFR PM) Your main goal in this position is the procurement and delivery of Wet Weather Flow Reduction projects at Civica. You’ll ultimately be responsible for maintaining revenue and sales targets, resource management and planning, client and project management, and project delivery within the team. Succeeding here will require equal parts technical proficiency and people skills. When you’re not engaged in overseeing the technical work of our Project Analysts or serving as a technical resource, you’ll be helping to build our team, communicating with stakeholders, and training team members as needed.
