The Powell River Curling Club has been a vibrant cornerstone in the community since 1955, when it first opened its doors in the Willingdon Arena. After a devastating fire in 1968, the club rallied and was reborn at its current Crown Avenue location—thanks to the unwavering spirit of local curlers and volunteers. Key objectives include streamlining the user journey with improved navigation, registration, and payment systems that support multiple options. An e-commerce component will allow for event transactions and registrations, while upgraded reporting tools will reduce administrative workload. Additionally, the new content management system will empower staff with easy editing capabilities, all wrapped in a refreshed visual identity that better represents the club’s presence.The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of the website redevelopment.
