Project Manager – Testing and Inspection | Geotechnical Division – Kitchener, Burlington, Toronto, or Mississauga, ON

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead geotechnical construction projects across residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal sectors.
  • Manage all phases of project delivery including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and site supervision.
  • Review project documentation, contracts, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor project execution to ensure objectives related to quality, timelines, and budget are achieved.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff and field personnel.
  • Identify and manage risks proactively with strategic mitigation planning.
  • Coordinate field inspections, QA/QC activities, and health and safety practices.
  • Prepare progress reports, change orders, and project close-out documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management or site supervision.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, contract administration, and OHSA regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to lead independently and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check (within 6 months).
  • Standard First Aid & CPR training is an asset.
