ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a progressive team delivering commercial tenant improvement projects across British Columbia. ABOUT THE POSITION
The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of tenant improvement projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, site superintendents, and clients while maintaining strong financial controls and clear communication across all project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project startup including contracts, insurance, bonding, and WCB documentation
  • Oversee project documentation, cost coding, submittals, schedules, meeting minutes, and change orders
  • Lead subcontractor and supplier management while proactively resolving project challenges
  • Partner with Site Superintendents to manage quality, schedules, and budgets
  • Act as the primary point of contact with clients, architects, and consultants to maintain strong relationships and resolve project issues
  • Monitor project budgets, financial reporting, and invoicing to ensure profitability
  • Prepare monthly progress claims and review subtrade and supplier invoices

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5–10 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with tenant improvement projects
  • Proven success as a Project Manager or Site Superintendent delivering projects in the $2M–$10M range
  • Post-secondary technical education in construction management or related field (BCIT or equivalent preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, codes, and processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with clients, consultants, and subtrades
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across BC as required

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $105,000 – $125,000 (depending on experience)
