Job summary

Van-Isle Waterproofing+ is seeking an experienced construction professional to own our projects, field team and day-to-day project delivery. This isn't a desk-only PM role; you’ll work across the office, warehouse and field to set our people and projects up to succeed.

As Project Manager, you’ll lead, plan and schedule work, coordinate with site superintendents and suppliers, manage materials and ensure safety, quality and on-time performance so projects stay on track and profitable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction industry experience.
• Experience coordinating projects, crews or field operations.
• Strong planning, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
• Confidence leading tradespeople and communicating with site superintendents.
• A practical understanding of scheduling, labour productivity and project costs.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• A valid driver's licence.
• Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction management software is a strong asset.
• Experience in waterproofing, roofing, building envelope, restoration, concrete remediation, industrial coatings or industrial painting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule and develop our field team while setting clear expectations for performance and accountability.
• Plan upcoming work, allocate crews and ensure sites are ready before mobilization.
• Order materials, maintain inventory and ensure crews have the tools, equipment and materials they need.
• Work directly with project managers, site superintendents, suppliers and our field team to keep projects moving.
• Inspect work, maintain workmanship standards and address deficiencies before they become rework.
• Ensure our safety procedures, training, documentation and field expectations are consistently followed.
• Monitor labour, materials, overtime, downtime, mobilizations and schedule performance to keep projects on track.
• Own the project's operational performance from handoff through closeout.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with:
