About The Position

Manage, evaluate, and assess information necessary to construct small to mid-size SPD projects on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading project management to ensure projects are 'on paper' and aligned with contract documents.
  2. Participating in project launch and closeout tasks.
  3. Assisting with construction tenders, bid processes, and subcontract negotiations.
  4. Developing and managing project schedules.
  5. Arranging project insurance and maintaining documentation.
  6. Managing submittals and shop drawings for compliance.
  7. Serving as liaison with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, and Owners.
  8. Overseeing contract drawings, specifications, and estimates.
  9. Managing project budgets, financial reporting, and owner invoicing.
  10. Leading operational review meetings and continuous improvement activities.
  11. Participating in safety activities and quality control procedures.
  12. Negotiating Change Orders and managing closeout documentation.
  13. Supervising project team members and providing performance feedback.
  14. Preparing scope of work documents and reports.
  15. Managing subcontractor coordination and meetings.
  16. Performing other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

The role requires sitting, manual tasks, mobility, site visits, and occasional lifting up to 23 kg. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.

Work Environment

The work includes office, remote, and construction site environments, with exposure to noise, mechanical parts, heights, airborne particles, weather, and electrical hazards. Compliance with safety policies is mandatory.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in construction or related industries preferred.
  • Proficiency in BIM, lean methods, and interpreting contract documents.
  • Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to process and technology changes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Active participation in community and social committees is encouraged.
