About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to lead our Sheet Metal Division within a dynamic commercial roofing company. Based out of our Mississauga headquarters, this role will oversee all sheet metal operations across multiple job sites, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety while managing foremen and crews. This is a leadership position that requires deep technical knowledge of roofing systems, sheet metal fabrication and installation, and strong project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight
  • Manage all aspects of sheet metal roofing projects from planning to completion
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Review architectural drawings and specifications for the metal scope
• Team Leadership
  • Supervise and support foremen and sheet metal crews across all active job sites
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and workmanship
  • Provide mentorship and training to field staff to uphold company standards
• Operations Management
  • Develop and implement workflows for fabrication, delivery, and installation
  • Ensure proper allocation of labor and materials across projects
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage inventory and logistics
• Quality & Compliance
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Resolve technical issues and troubleshoot installation challenges
• Reporting & Communication
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and budget tracking
  • Report regularly to senior management on department performance
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve concerns

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing and sheet metal project management
• Strong knowledge of standing seam, metal panels, flashing, and architectural metal systems
• Proven leadership in managing crews and foremen across multiple job sites
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
• PMP certification or equivalent is an asset
