The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a restoration professional who enjoys managing projects from emergency response through reconstruction, but is looking for more than simply another Project Manager position.

You will be joining a strong, collaborative organization with experienced operational resources, supportive leadership and meaningful opportunity for professional growth. The scale of the business provides Project Managers with the resources and team support to concentrate on delivering excellent projects, building strong relationships and developing their careers.

For someone who has built solid restoration experience and is ready for a larger platform and greater opportunity, this could be a very attractive next step.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • A strong team around you. Work alongside experienced Project Coordinators, mitigation personnel, trades and operational leadership rather than trying to manage every aspect of a file alone.
  • A larger, established platform. Join an organization with the infrastructure, systems and resources to support effective project delivery.
  • Supportive leadership. Work in an environment that values accountability, communication, sound judgment and quality execution.
  • Career growth. Take on greater responsibility and build toward longer-term professional advancement as the organization continues to grow.
  • Visible impact. Your ability to manage projects successfully directly influences customer experience, financial performance and the success of the broader team.

Position Description

Reporting to senior operational leadership, the Project Manager is a key member of the restoration team and takes ownership of assigned property-loss projects from initial response through completion.

The role combines project management, customer communication, estimating, scheduling, financial control, trade coordination and team leadership. Success requires the ability to keep many moving parts aligned while delivering a strong customer experience and protecting project quality and profitability.

  • Project leadership and performance. Take ownership of assigned restoration files and contribute to annual sales, operational performance and customer-experience objectives.
  • Customer and adjuster communication. Maintain clear, timely and professional communication with homeowners, insurance adjusters and other project stakeholders throughout the life of the claim.
  • Project coordination. Work effectively with Project Coordinators and ensure they have the information, resources and direction required to fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Emergency-response management. Coordinate and lead mitigation resources based upon the requirements of individual emergency claims and ensure expectations are clearly established and delivered.
  • Estimating and scope management. Ensure emergency and building estimates accurately reflect the required scope of work while supporting appropriate project margins.
  • Scheduling. Develop and maintain formal project schedules designed to maximize efficiency, productivity and profitability while keeping projects moving forward.
  • Trade partner management. Build and maintain a dependable network of qualified trades and ensure completed work conforms to approved scopes and work orders.
  • File management and compliance. Maintain accurate and current information within applicable restoration-management and insurance-industry systems and ensure projects meet required Service Level Agreements.
  • Customer experience and quality. Deliver a consistently high standard of workmanship, communication and service designed to produce strong customer-satisfaction outcomes.
  • Financial follow-through. Ensure invoicing is prepared promptly following project completion and support the timely settlement of accounts receivable.
  • Safety and regulatory compliance. Apply a working knowledge of Ontario occupational health and safety and employment standards requirements and follow applicable company, provincial, federal and municipal guidelines.
  • Team contribution. Operate as a leader within the organization and contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Experience

You are likely already working in the property restoration industry and understand the realities of managing active insurance-loss projects, customers under stress, demanding timelines, adjuster expectations, trades, estimating, emergency work and reconstruction all competing for attention.

You are comfortable taking ownership of a file, setting priorities and keeping people informed.

Just as importantly, you understand that successful restoration project management is both operational and commercial. Customer service matters, but so do accurate estimating, effective scheduling, margin discipline, documentation and timely project completion.

Experience working with restoration-management systems, XactAnalysis or similar industry platforms would be particularly relevant.

The Right Fit

You will be well suited to this opportunity if you enjoy creating order out of many moving parts and want to work somewhere that gives you the team, resources and leadership support to perform at a higher level.

Pperhaps you have reached the point where you know the restoration business, can manage your own projects and are beginning to ask:

“What is the next step for me?”

If you are looking for a larger organization, stronger team support, greater exposure and room to develop professionally, this opportunity deserves a conversation.
