Job summary

Koler Builders in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead multiple ground-up residential projects from planning through to hand-over. You will manage scheduling, safety, quality and budget, coordinating with stakeholders for on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of Canadian experience on ground-up multi-family projects, strong communication and organization, and proficiency with Microsoft Project and Jonas.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of relative Canadian experience as a Project Manager.
• Ground up multi-family mid-rise residential project experience.
• Strong inspection skills to ensure quality control.
• Proficiency in logistics management to keep projects on track.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• Experience working in Jonas a plus.
• Experience in change management.
• Experience in contract management (CCDC range and CCA1 subcontract).
• Experience in dispute management.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage time and resources effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task and a few projects (smaller) at a time.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Gold Seal Certification in project management an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in managing multiple residential projects from planning through close-out and hand-over.
• Manage scheduling and the daily activities for this position.
• Be accountable for safety, quality, schedule, budget, and contract administration.
• Oversee cost control and active day-to-day construction involvement.

This is a full-time Position. As a Project Manager, you will lead the team in managing multiple residential projects (depending on size) in accordance with the contract documents, throughout the entire project life cycle, from the planning stage through to project close-out and hand-over stages. You will be managing scheduling, a major part of the daily responsibilities for this position. You will be accountable to safety, quality, schedule, budget, correspondence, contract administrations, cost control and take an active role in the day to day of your construction projects.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of relative Canadian experience as a Project Manager.
• Specific demonstrated full lifecyle project experience managing ground up multi-family mid-rise residential projects. Candidates without this specific experience will not be considered.
