Job description

Our Professional Services team has an exciting opportunity for a driven individual, and we're looking for a Project Manager who is passionate about providing IT transformation and implementation services for our clients. It is mission-critical for the Project Manager to be a leader and a champion, acting as a conduit between senior management, key clients, and third-party vendors.

The Project Manager role is project-driven, supporting clients by acting as the first point of contact to ensure their organizational goals are met. Additionally, the Project Manager will monitor and control the scope of work, engagement team priorities, and project finances. This role may require traveling globally or regionally, based on client locations.

This remote role is open to candidates from anywhere in Canada or the US. It requires travel up to 50% within these regions; a valid passport or visa is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning, Scope Management, & PMO Improvements:
   • Ensure project plans, schedules, budgets, and scope control meet or exceed expectations.
   • Lead impact analysis, scope negotiations, and manage evolving project requirements.
   • Identify and assess business opportunities and workflows for PMO process improvements.
2. Project Delivery & Critical Issue Resolution:
   • Manage all phases of projects, including start-up and post-implementation follow-up.
   • Ensure contractual obligations and expectations are met.
   • Prioritize tasks based on project needs, obstacles, budgets, and deadlines.
   • Coordinate resolution of issues and delays to ensure timely delivery.
   • Communicate project updates and critical issues to clients and leadership.
   • Manage project scope, changes, client satisfaction, and organizational profitability.

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
• Proficiency in managing scope, schedule, and budget.

Preferred Experience:

• Managing CIS implementation projects.
• Experience in the Utility sector.
• Knowledge of CIS & ERP solutions.
• Experience working in a PMO.
