Overview

Our client, a well-established civil construction company specializing in earthworks, underground utilities, and roadworks, is looking to add a Project Manager to their Kamloops-based team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years of project management experience who is ready to take the next step in their civil construction career.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement for civil construction projects.
  • Coordinate with site superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants to support daily operations.
  • Help track project progress, address challenges, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support project documentation, forecasting, and change order management.
  • Attend and contribute to regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a project management role in civil construction.
  • Familiarity with earthworks, underground utilities, or roadworks.
  • Mining experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; experience with scheduling or project management software is an asset.
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
