Consider this opportunity.The Project Manager will collaborate with various teams within the Quality division and across Ontario Health’s Clinical Institutes and Quality Programs portfolio to ensure deliverables are executed within scope, timelines, and budgets.
Here Is What You Will Be Doing
- Planning and Coordination: Develop multidimensional operational/project plans aligned with the Quality division’s and Ontario Health’s strategies. Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate assigned projects and initiatives
- Leadership and Communication: Lead project meetings, coach portfolio staff in project management, and maintain effective communication with the project team and stakeholders
- Operational Support: Support decision-making, procurement processes, and the implementation of Quality division strategies through facilitation, problem-solving, and conflict management
- Performance Monitoring: Complete reporting requirements for deliverables, risks, and performance measures, and monitor the performance and evaluation strategy for the program
- Resource Management: Support operational and resource capacity planning, business and financial analyses, and manage the operations budget
- Documentation and Tools: Develop project charters, schedules, plans, risk-and-issue logs, and other project documentation. Create project and analytical tools, templates, and other documentation to support project management practices
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure each initiative has a robust stakeholder engagement plan, a communication plan, reporting processes, and an achievable project plan
Experience
Here is what you will need to be successful:
- Completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or a recognized experience equivalent
- 4+ years’ related work experience in a project analyst or equivalent role
- Healthcare experience is an asset
- Project Management certification is an asset (PMP, PMI, etc.)
- Proven experience in the delivery and execution of projects/programs, including allocating resources and budgeting
- Leadership experience is an asset
- Excellent judgment in setting priorities, identifying issues, and determining actions required; adept at balancing concurrent tasks and projects
