This role involves overseeing all phases of project development, from planning and procurement to implementation and final transfer of responsibility. Infrastructure Ontario (IO), an Ontario crown corporation, provides a wide range of services to support the Ontario government’s initiative to modernize and maximize the value of public infrastructure and realty. IO has been recognized domestically and internationally for the way it does business and the success it has had with its major projects, real estate services, infrastructure lending, commercial projects, and development mandate. IO delivers some of the most complex, ambitious commercial and land development solutions for the Province and continues to evolve and expand its capabilities to maximize its public impact and deliver on its vision of creating a connected, modern and competitive Ontario.
Project Delivery manages large, complex public infrastructure projects using a variety of contracting models, notably the public-private partnership (P3) approach to procurement and delivery. The P3 model leverages private sector financing and expertise in building public infrastructure with the objective of delivering projects on schedule and within approved budgets. The current project pipeline is valued at more than $35 billion in estimated design and construction costs.
The Project Manager will provide leadership throughout the planning, procurement and implementation phases of assigned project(s). This includes scope and stakeholder management, budget preparation, scheduling and project risk mitigation.
To succeed in this role, the incumbent brings solid project delivery and stakeholder management experience, the ability to adapt quickly and respond to a changing environment, and experience finding positive solutions to issues with clients and diverse teams of project consultants, specialists and contractors. Presentation, consultation, negotiation, influencing and consensus building skills are also required.

The hiring range for this position is $104,400 - $156,600 with a corresponding job level of PM3. The exact compensation will align based on the skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
