Job summary

GHD in Vancouver, Canada, is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Property and Buildings to deliver design-build projects from planning through completion. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk while coordinating diverse teams across architecture, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Responsibilities include developing execution plans, forecasts, and reports; supporting client communications; and ensuring governance and procurement processes are followed.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of project delivery experience in buildings/infrastructure/industrial/public-sector markets.
• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk.

Our Canadian West Property and Buildings team is looking for an experienced Project Manager - Property and Buildings to join our Canadian Operations in Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton.

Who are we looking for?

• Lead Design-Build projects from planning through completion, ensuring successful delivery by managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. This role requires strong project leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Managing small and medium-sized projects or supporting the delivery of larger, complex projects.
• Developing and maintaining project execution plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk registers.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and specialty disciplines.
• Monitoring project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to support successful delivery outcomes.
• Supporting client communications and serving as a day-to-day point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Coordinating with contractors, subconsultants, regulatory authorities, and owner representatives throughout project delivery.
• Supporting procurement, contract administration, project controls, and construction-phase services activities.
• Preparing project reports, presentations, status updates, and project documentation.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• 5-10 years of project delivery experience within the buildings, infrastructure, industrial, institutional, or public-sector markets.
• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Understanding of project delivery methodologies and project governance principles.
• Experience supporting projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out phases.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of project management tools, financial management practices, and project reporting requirements

Salary range: $85,140 - $141,900 per year. The salary range is based on the preferred work location. If the selected candidate’s location differs, changes to the salary range may apply.
