Job summary

GHD is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Property and Buildings to join our Canadian West team in Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton. The role leads design-build initiatives across disciplines, balancing scope, timelines, and budgets while engaging clients and stakeholders.

Hybrid work is supported, with in-office collaboration and flexible scheduling. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of delivery experience, an engineering/architecture/construction mgmt background, and strong communication

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of project delivery experience in buildings, infrastructure, industrial, institutional, or public-sector markets.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Understanding of project delivery methodologies and project governance principles.
• Experience supporting projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design-Build projects from planning through completion, ensuring successful delivery by managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
• Managing small and medium-sized projects or supporting the delivery of larger, complex projects.
• Developing and maintaining project execution plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk registers.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and specialty disciplines.
• Monitoring project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to support successful delivery outcomes.
• Supporting client communications and serving as a day-to-day point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Coordinating with contractors, subconsultants, regulatory authorities, and owner representatives throughout project delivery.
• Supporting procurement, contract administration, project controls, and construction-phase services activities.
• Preparing project reports, presentations, status updates, and project documentation.

Our Canadian West Property and Buildings team is looking for an experienced Project Manager - Property and Buildings to join our Canadian Operations in Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton.

Who are we looking for?

What you’ll bring to the team:

• 5-10 years of project delivery experience within the buildings, infrastructure, industrial, institutional, or public-sector markets.
• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Understanding of project delivery methodologies and project governance principles.
• Experience supporting projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out phases.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of project management tools, financial management practices, and project reporting requirements

Salary range: $85,140 - $141,900 per year. The salary range is based on the preferred work location. If the selected candidate’s location differs, changes to the salary range may apply.
