Job Description

Salary Range: $48.71 - 57.99

Position Summary:

This is an exhilarating time to join the dynamic team at Cambridge Hospital as we embark on a transformative digital journey under Project Quantum, aimed at revolutionizing our information systems and enhancing patient care through advanced technology and process improvements. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will lead corporate projects within the Project Management Office using proven project management techniques and principles. This role will report directly to the Director of Operational Excellence and is responsible for leading major organizational change initiatives that align with our hospital's strategic priorities including quality and process improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will excel in driving project success through effective stakeholder engagement, robust planning, and meticulous execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of complex corporate projects.
  • Facilitate workshops dedicated to Quality and Process Improvement, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation across departments.
  • Ensure alignment of all assigned projects with organizational strategy through effective engagement and communication with all levels of the organization
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and responsible team members.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure that all assigned tasks are completed on time within budget.
  • Align standard PMO processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and tools to manage projects efficiently.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting risks, issues, and changes in project scope.
  • Facilitate effective communication between various departments and project collaborators.
  • Identify and mitigate potential roadblocks or risks that could impact project timelines, quality, or budget.
  • Lead team meetings, workshops, and reviews to ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • At minimum, Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex projects, preferably within the healthcare industry or in an organizational setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Lean Process Improvement, Six Sigma) and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Experience in change management, including leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar.
