Position Overview

About The Role:

Project Management

Calendar Progress Tracking

  1. Maintain and continuously update the master seasonal product calendar for the category, ensuring visibility of progress against key milestones.
  2. Track status at a style-level and category-level, surfacing delays or blockers early to prevent downstream impact.
Change Log Ownership

  1. Manage and communicate changes to project timelines, deliverables, or scope through a structured change log process.
  2. Partner with functional leads to document the “what,” “why,” and “impact” of any deviations from plan, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned.
Timeline Risk Identification & Mitigation

  1. Proactively monitor potential risks to calendar adherence.
  2. Lead timeline risk mitigation by facilitating stakeholder collaboration to propose solutions and alternative action plans (e.g., parallel development tracks, sample tiering, or timeline compression tactics), and drive cross-functional alignment on trade-offs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop workaround plans without compromising quality or commercial intent.
Status Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  1. Regularly synthesize and share timeline health status to key stakeholders, highlighting on-track items, upcoming risks, and mitigation steps in play.
  2. Provide “calendar truth” for the category—ensuring teams have a single source of accurate milestone tracking.
Process Improvement & Efficiency

  1. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements based on best practices.
  2. Drive continuous improvement efforts aligned with shifting business needs.
  3. Lead initiatives to increase speed-to-market, enhance workflows, and reduce inefficiencies.
Product Knowledge and Product Calendar

Product Lifecycle Management

  1. Oversee the full product lifecycle calendar management for the category—planning, execution, and final launch.
  2. Build and execute product calendars that align with the integrated calendar, seasonal and market-driven timelines.
  3. Support cross-functional teams with a deep understanding of product flow, timelines, and dependencies.
Reporting & Metrics

  1. Monitor and communicate key calendar performance metrics.
  2. Partner with stakeholders to track KPIs and applicable reporting needs.
Business Acumen

  1. Deep understanding of product creation functions (Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Product Engineering, Sourcing, Capacity Planning, Production, Go-To-Market) and the overall business landscape.
  2. Passionate about innovation, efficiency, and the future potential of the product line.
Facilitation & Leadership

Meeting & Workshop Facilitation

  1. Run milestone, status and category meetings with precision—ensuring clarity of objectives, ownership, and action items.
  2. Facilitate strategic category checkpoints that require alignment across disciplines.
Leadership Without Authority

  1. Lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and shifting priorities. Empower team members by driving alignment and clarity.
  2. Able to challenge stakeholders when needed, push conversations and decisions forward, and protect timelines without losing momentum.
Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Deliver tailored, strategic updates to Manager and applicable leadership, providing data-backed insights into category progress, risks, and solutions.
  2. Build and maintain trust with global stakeholders, balancing transparency with problem-solving orientation.
  3. Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrixed organization, with experience influencing stakeholders across Design, Development, Sourcing, Planning, Production and Merchandising.

About You

  1. Required Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of relevant management experience, ideally in a fast-paced product or project management environment.
  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
  3. 5 years’ experience in project/product management ideally in product development, apparel, consumer goods, or manufacturing.
  4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, MS Project, PLM systems is preferred.
  5. Proven track record of outstanding organizational and time management skills in a management role.
  6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and executive teams.
  7. Naturally proactive and solutions-oriented—someone who sees around corners, takes initiative, and drives clarity in ambiguous situations.
  8. Passion for product, process, and operational excellence, with a customer- and business-first mindset.
