Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Product Manager to lead product development for our Rental Deposits and Tenant Insurance platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, team leadership, and a sharp eye for delivering user-friendly, scalable products, from task creation to deployment. You will lead the prioritization of development efforts and tasks, ensure quality control, and work closely with our stakeholder and development team to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Project & Task Management:

  1. Lead product development initiatives for Rental Deposits Now and Tenant Insurance.
  2. Manage day-to-day sprints with developers ensuring prompt communication and resolution of issues.
  3. Own the JIRA board, including task creation, prioritization, QA review and timely delivery.
  4. Facilitate daily discussions, frequent testing, and troubleshooting to keep projects on track.
  5. Make strategic decisions regarding deployment, ensuring the smooth rollout of tasks related to:
    1. Marketing Pages
    2. Customer, Admin, and Agent Portals
    3. Application User Journeys
  6. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand project requests, create mockups, and assign tasks to developers.
Tools & Platform Management

  1. Asana: Organize projects, track progress, and maintain timelines for all ongoing initiatives.
  2. Stripe: Oversee integration and functionality related to payment processing.
  3. Figma: Collaborate on product designs, wireframes, and mockups for portals and marketing pages.
  4. Lucidchart: Develop flow charts and swimlanes for business planning, visualizing workflows, and process improvements.
  5. CRM Systems: Create email journeys, automate workflows, and manage client lists.
  6. Zapier: Implement and manage automation for repetitive tasks, ensuring seamless integration between software platforms.
Quality Assurance & Deployment

  1. Own QA process.
  2. Liaise directly with developers, providing clear instructions and feedback on task requirements and improvements.
AI, Chatbot, Knowledge Tools

  1. Monitor daily for incoming requests.
  2. Build and update chatbot flows as required.
  3. Ensure FAQs and the 'smart serve' are up-to-date and accurate.
  4. Create documentation and SOPs for internal automation.
Internal Enablement & Training

  1. Lead the onboarding process for new employees, covering email setup, signature creation, CRM navigation, and phone integration.
  2. Develop scripts for step-by-step video tutorials to guide employees and customers on the usage of systems, processes, and tools.
Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of proven experience in product management, within a technology-driven company.
  2. Previous experience in InsurTech, FinTech, or PropTech industries is highly desirable.
  3. Strong experience managing Asana and JIRA.
  4. Hands-on with Figma UI/UX, Lucidchart and workflow automation tools.
  5. Experience in CRMs, email journeys and lead automation.
  6. Familiarity with automation platforms like Zapier.
  7. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead product development cycles.
  8. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  9. Hands-on experience with QA processes and deployment strategies.
Additional Skills

  1. Integrating AI into processes.
  2. API liaison.
  3. Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  4. Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Knowledge of chatbot management is a plus.
  6. Experience in a startup environment, dealing with high-paced growth and scalable product delivery.
