Job summary

Parker Huggett - A Division of LRO Staffing seeks an experienced project leader for an iconic Ontario institutional build in downtown Toronto. You will own delivery from buyout through to quality, reporting directly to senior leadership on site with no regional layer between decisions.

You will work alongside a strong self-perform team, participate in design coordination, and maintain accountability for schedule and safety in a high-finish project.

Qualifications

• You've run institutional, cultural, healthcare, or higher-ed work where the architecture was the point
• You've held a finish standard through a value-engineering cycle and can say how
• You've known which trades can deliver detailed work at this level and which ones overpromise
• You've managed a public or quasi-public stakeholder group without letting it eat the schedule
• You've hired and let people go; you don't outsource the hard conversation

Job description

A privately held Ontario ICI Design Builder is staffing up the delivery team on a signature civic project in the downtown core. This is not a repeat of the last one; the building is architecturally singular, the end user is public, and the standard of finish is the reason the job was won. The PM seat exists because the client wants someone owning delivery from the inside, not a coordinator reporting upward through three layers.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Reporting into senior project leadership on site, with no regional layer between you and the decision
• Working alongside significant self-perform capability rather than managing an all-sub trade stack
