The Project Manager, Outside Plant - Infrastructure (OSP), will be responsible for all telecommunication fibre build activities in New Brunswick to ensure schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.


Responsibilities

  • Lead teams of installers and splicers in the field
  • Set and manage customer and company expectations within Atlantic Canada
  • Communicate effectively with project partners, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Manage productivity and schedules
  • Analyze plans, conduct site visits and surveys, and prepare bids and quotes
  • Understand contractual obligations between the company and clients
  • Maintain and monitor project P&L margins
  • Plan projects, including logistics and cost control
  • Negotiate amendments and compensation requests
  • Ensure activities adhere to the company's code of conduct and ethics
  • Manage and forecast consumable inventories
  • Comply with city/municipality safety requirements and company training
Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant field experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications and OSP project management
  • Preference given to candidates with PMP, CAPM, or Gold Seal Recognition
  • Extensive knowledge of OSP design and fiber implementation project management
  • Familiarity with Eastlink, Bell, and Rogers installation and repair processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills
  • Resourcefulness
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a good driving record
