About The Role
Axiom Builders are actively seeking a Project Manager to join our expanding Calgary office. The project involves converting a 10-story commercial tower into a residential tower, part of Calgary's downtown revitalization program to increase housing for residents, students, and tourists. You will lead project performance, overseeing cost management, schedule, quality assurance, and progress monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution ensuring on-time, within scope and budget delivery;
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, costs, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders;
• Work with our project accounting team on progress claims, forecasts, cost to complete, invoice reviews, and cost management;
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors through professional communication;
• Ensure efficiency, quality, technical competence, and fair management of trades and suppliers;
• Manage contract negotiations, update construction schedules, manage change orders, and progress draws;
• Maintain detailed project documentation.

Skills And Experience

• 3-5 years of on-site experience in residential projects with a general contractor;
• Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, or similar software is an asset;
• Post-secondary education in Building Technology, Construction Management, or related fields is an asset;
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Willingness to work on-site and be actively involved;
• Experience with Design or VCON is a plus.
