The project will entail conduct of an evidence review to determine the current state of the science, an environmental scan to assess inclusion of pregnant and lactating people in recent Canadian drug and biologic trials, a survey to assess investigator-related barriers and facilitators, and development of harmonized sections of protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and informed consent forms (ICFs) to facilitate the inclusion of pregnant and lactating individuals by trialists and their teams. As part of this project, we are seeking to hire a full-time Project Manager, who will be responsible for coordinating project activities with a diverse team of investigators, knowledge users and other collaborators, and patient partners.
