Qualifications

  • Proven success in delivering infrastructure projects.
  • 5+ years of experience in management and/or design of complex civil engineering projects.
  • Experience in water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation projects is considered an asset.
  • Licensed P.Eng. in Nova Scotia or eligible within six months.

What you can expect to do here:

  • You will manage and deliver infrastructure projects such as water systems, storm sewers, wastewater conveyance, and municipal transportation networks.
  • You will support all phases of project development from proposal writing, studies, concept design, detailed design, cost estimating, tendering, and construction oversight.
  • You will lead, mentor, and empower multidisciplinary teams while fostering collaboration with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • You will chair meetings, resolve technical challenges, and act as the primary contact for clients and project teams.
  • You will manage risks, schedules, budgets, and ensure alignment with quality standards and client expectations.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • You bring proven success in delivering infrastructure projects and building strong client relationships.
  • You offer 5+ years’ experience in management and/or design of complex civil engineering projects; experience in water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation projects is considered an asset.
  • You lead with initiative, energy, and a commitment to quality outcomes.
  • You excel in communication, team leadership, and client engagement.
  • You bring sharp analytical skills, high attention to detail and strong organizational instincts.
  • You hold an accredited engineering degree and are a licensed P.Eng. in Nova Scotia (or eligible within six months).
  • You understand local markets and bring valuable client connections and insight. //Knowledge of local markets with established local client relationships is an asset
