Job description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to lead multi-family residential construction projects in Calgary, AB. This role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and exposure to both the developer and investor sides of real estate and construction.

What You Will Do:

As the Project Manager, you will oversee multi-family residential construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Leadership: Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a zero-accident work environment.
  • Project Execution: Lead project teams, manage schedules, and ensure the timely execution of tasks.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Project Closeout: Oversee final phases of the project, ensuring all permits, occupancy requirements, and client sign-offs are completed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven Project Management experience with a General Contractor (GC), having successfully completed full-cycle residential projects in Canada, specifically multi-family developments. Local project management experience in the Calgary area is required.
  • Education: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications: PMP, LEED, or Post-Graduate studies in Construction or Engineering will be considered favourably.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
    • Proficient in construction project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Microsoft Office).
