Environics Research in Toronto is seeking a Project Manager - Market Research to lead fieldwork and data-management for multiple quantitative studies. You’ll shape budgets, timelines and quality controls, working with internal teams and external vendors to keep projects on schedule.
The role is hybrid in Toronto, starting Oct 12, 2026, on a 12-month maternity leave contract with potential extension. You’ll ensure data is clean, weighting is sound and outputs are analysis-ready.
Location: Toronto, Ontario · Hybrid - occasional in-office attendance required
Type: 12-month maternity leave contract.
Salary: $65,000 - $ 75,000
Start date: October 12, 2026
We're a close-knit team that helps clients understand people, markets and the world around them, and we care deeply about producing work that is accurate, useful and thoughtfully executed.
We value different perspectives and the ideas each person brings to the table. Our hybrid approach gives us flexibility while making space for in-person connection and collaboration.
We're looking for a Project Manager who loves making complex research projects run smoothly. If you're energized by busy timelines, thoughtful problem-solving and the satisfaction of seeing high-quality data come together, we want to meet you.
You'll take the lead during the fieldwork stage of our market research projects, keeping the work on track, the data clean and the many moving pieces connected. You'll partner with our internal research teams, and vendors, balancing careful planning with the ability to solve whatever comes up along the way.
This is a full-time, 12-month maternity leave coverage contract beginning October 12, 2026. While the initial term is 12 months, there may be an opportunity to extend the contract based on business needs. The role is based in Toronto and follows a hybrid schedule.
As Project Manager, you'll own the fieldwork and data-management stages of multiple quantitative research projects. You'll help develop realistic budgets and timelines, coordinate internal and external partners, monitor data quality and prepare reliable datasets for analysis.
This is a role for someone who enjoys both the big picture and the details. One moment you may be advising on methodology or working through a vendor issue; the next, you may be cleaning a dataset in SPSS, validating a weighting scheme or making sure three concurrent projects stay on schedule.
We're a small, supportive team where ideas are welcome and individual contributions have a visible impact. We care about quality, collaboration and giving people the trust to own their work. You'll have room to make decisions, solve meaningful problems and strengthen your skills alongside experienced research colleagues.
