Apply now for the position of Project Manager- Laboratory Solutions for a 12 month contract and you will support complex projects with our customers.

Your Role

• You provide project management of Atellica Solutions implementations for non-automation / automation sites.
• You support other highly complex projects, while collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure expectations are met. (Projects will be managed from pre-sale through customer go-live process ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved)
• You lead all Siemens and customer activities on IDN / consolidator & multi-site implementation projects.
• You coordinate conference calls and / or face to face meetings with all those involved on implementation projects.
• You drive all communication on projects both internally and with customers, keeping all parties informed and drive projects to maximum efficiencies, including best install times with optimum customer satisfaction.
• You provide formal presentations in front of large groups of Siemens personnel or customers.
• You influence without authority, in a matrix environment.

Your Expertise

• BS / BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years work experience in project management.
• Candidates with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
• Working knowledge of regulatory agency requirements specific to the clinical laboratory environment is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing external customer projects of various scale and complexity.
• Strong complex problem-solving skills and ability to translate technical issues into non-technical terms.
• Professional attitude, comfortable working in large corporate setting populated with diverse types of people, maintain pose and respect in stressful situations with assurance and confidence.
• Previous experience with laboratory automation and informatics products preferred.
• History of managing projects within the healthcare and laboratory diagnostic arenas preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• Candidates have to be located in Canada.
