Project Manager - Infrastructure

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent Full time member of our team - Project Manager - Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with minimal supervision and be results driven. This role will be based out of office in Burlington, ON.

Job Summary

As an integral member of our global engineering team, the Project Manager – Infrastructure will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects within the buildings and infrastructure sector. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to technical standards, timelines, and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with internal quality and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Delivery

  • Lead the full project lifecycle, from initiation and design through construction and closeout, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, assigning roles and responsibilities to meet project deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor performance against established metrics.
  • Manage risk and resolve issues proactively to maintain project momentum.


Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Foster long-term client relationships by delivering high-quality outcomes and addressing client needs in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, providing clear communication of project goals, timelines, and progress.


Technical Oversight

  • Oversee the application of engineering standards and best practices across project phases.
  • Review technical deliverables to ensure compliance with design requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Support value engineering and sustainability initiatives throughout project execution.


Financial and Commercial Management

  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimating, tracking, and forecasting.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and revenue recognition in alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Support contract negotiations, scope definition, and change management processes.


Team Development and Mentorship

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development through technical guidance and leadership.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing across internal teams and project disciplines.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is considered an asset.
  • 10+ years of experience managing infrastructure projects, preferably in the buildings and infrastructure sector.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Seller-Doer – Strong Client facing
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of all infrastructure disciplines.
  • Estimating experience and capability (for all disciplines related to buildings and infrastructure).
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software; familiarity with engineering design tools is beneficial.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • A list of clients he/she feels they could bring with them.
  • Strong project management skills
    • PMP an asset
    • Ability to build a schedule within MS Project
