Job description

Groupe Conseil UDA is seeking a Project Manager in Environmental Assessment and Impact Studies to join its multidisciplinary team, which includes agricultural, forestry, and geological engineers, agronomists, biologists, geographers, geomatics specialists, and technicians. The successful candidate will coordinate and execute environmental and social impact studies, handle ministerial authorization requests, and manage other environmental mandates. Projects primarily serve the energy, industrial, and mining sectors.

The position can be based in one of our offices (Quebec or Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu) or be fully remote, depending on the candidate's autonomy.

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $55,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental and social impact assessments;
  • Plan and monitor all project phases, including schedules and budgets;
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, authorities, and stakeholders;
  • Participate in environmental permit and authorization applications;
  • Develop work protocols, estimate timelines, and calculate costs;
  • Organize and lead meetings internally and externally;
  • Provide technical and regulatory expertise;
  • Collaborate across departments to execute projects;
  • Implement occupational health and safety protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • University degree in Environmental Science or related field;
  • At least four years of relevant experience;
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations;
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, team player, and eager to take on challenges;
  • Leadership, initiative, and motivation;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Experience in consulting firms is an asset.
