Job Description
Lead and manage construction projects from initial planning through to close-out, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain project momentum and resolve any issues promptly.
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy on site.
Monitor project progress using scheduling tools and update stakeholders on timelines and deliverables.
Prepare and manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs, meeting minutes, and reports.
Support procurement processes, including sourcing materials and awarding sub-trade contracts.
Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all applicable building codes and regulations.
Foster strong communication with clients, keeping them informed and involved throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant
Minimum 5 years- 8 years of experience managing construction projects within the ICI and/or multi-residential sectors for a General Contractor.
Strong working knowledge of construction methodologies, Ontario Building Code, and project lifecycle management.
Proficient in digital project tools such as scheduling software, document control systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Skilled in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
Exceptional organizational abilities with a track record of managing multiple active projects simultaneously.
Effective communicator with proven leadership and team coordination experience.
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
Certifications such as PMP, LEED, or Gold Seal considered an asset.
Must hold a valid driver's license and be comfortable traveling to project sites across the region.
