Position Summary :
We are looking to add a Project Manager I (Junior / Intermediate Level) to our engineering team based at the Global Technology Center in downtown Vaughan, Ontario. The selected candidate will report directly to the Lead Project Manager and will play a key role in managing engineering and product development projects.
Responsibilities :
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables for Capex and R&D projects that support business objectives.
- Prepare detailed project schedules, oversee cost management, and ensure adherence to project milestones.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Assist the Project Management Lead with administrative tasks related to engineering changes and process documentation.
Requirements :
- PMP certification, bachelor's degree, or equivalent knowledge of project management principles including scope definition, risk assessment, budget management, and project reporting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Teams, and OneNote.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project for scheduling and resource management.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes and project management principles.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with requirement acquisition, scope definition, WBS, scheduling, and cost management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in project management within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Engineering background, machine design, and build experience are assets.

Required Experience :
Experience in project management methodologies, software (Bluebeam, Waterfall, Basecamp, Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Project), and lifecycle management. Knowledge of project coordination and related skills.
