Hitachi Energy in Canada seeks a Project Manager for its High Voltage Product Group to oversee end-to-end integration projects from hand-off to final delivery. You will develop project plans, schedules, and risk strategies while coordinating cross-functional teams to reach milestones.

You will supervise contract reviews, change orders, and client negotiations, and manage financial performance with design reviews and progress meetings. Proficiency with MS Project and SAP is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; electro-technical is preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience in project management.
• Sound technical knowledge of high-voltage systems and substation equipment.
• Experience in unionized construction environments; PMP certification is an asset.
• Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
• English knowledge in addition to French is required for operational needs.

Responsabilidades

• Manage high-voltage grid integration projects from hand-off through final delivery.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage cross-functional teams and support achievement of project milestones.
• Oversee contract reviews, change orders, and customer negotiations.
• Manage project financial performance and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Conduct design reviews and project progress meetings.
• Maintain client communications and ensure project documentation is complete, current, and properly stored.
• Use MS Project and SAP for project tracking.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
