Project Manager – Hazardous Materials and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) in Tilbury, ON. A Day in the life of a Project Manager at Pinchin

Responsibilities and daily activities focus on delivering high-quality consulting services while mentoring staff and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership
    • Manage hazardous materials and IEQ projects from proposal to completion.
    • Oversee assessments, abatement planning, and remediation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with OHSA, CSA, ASHRAE, and other relevant standards.
  • Client & Business Development
    • Maintain and grow client relationships.
    • Support marketing efforts and contribute to business planning.
    • Prepare proposals, reports, and contract documents.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
    • Provide technical guidance and quality control.
    • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Conduct hazardous materials and air quality assessments.
    • Develop mould prevention and Legionella management plans.
    • Provide infection control consulting for healthcare environments.
What You Bring To The Pinchin Team
  • 3–5 years of experience in hazardous materials or IEQ projects in a consulting environment
  • Proven project management and team leadership experience.
  • Post-secondary education in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and RFP/RFQ documents.
  • Valid driver’s license, car, insurance coverage, and willingness to travel.
