Project Manager - Geotechnical Engineering

Our Geotechnical team in Saskatchewan is seeking an experienced Intermediate to Senior Geotechnical Engineer with project management skills and interest.

This role is based in Saskatoon, SK.

Your role within the team:
  • Manage projects across sectors like mining, infrastructure, geohazards, and flood protection.
  • Contribute to business development and proposals.
  • Lead projects through planning, execution, financial management, and closeout.
  • Support geotechnical investigations, design assessments, and analysis.
  • Guide construction, troubleshoot QA testing, and evaluate materials such as soil and concrete.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations on foundation design, infrastructure, shoring, retaining walls, slope stability, ground improvement, and related geotechnical projects.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental protocols are followed, leading by example to prevent workplace incidents.

Ideal candidate:
  • 8+ years in Geotechnical Engineering with project management experience.
  • Possession or eligibility for a Professional Engineering License (P.Eng.) in Saskatchewan or another Canadian province.
  • Experience in an independent geotechnical role within a fast-paced consultancy.
  • CAPM or PMP certification (or interest in obtaining one) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, technical, and team development skills.
  • Excellent report and proposal writing skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Saskatchewan.
