Asset Protection & Security Services, LP is seeking a Project Manager for a Passenger Transportation Contract to ferry workers from designated parking areas to their worksite.

Duties:

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Overseeing a fleet of 12 vehicles and 28-30 CDL drivers in performing passenger transportation service in and around Greensboro, NC primarily driving employees from designated parking lots to their work location.
  • Conducting daily customer liaison as necessary with on-call response to incidents/accidents involving company vehicles/drivers.
  • Performing Human Resources duties such as assisting with onboarding, employee candidate interviews, administering previous employer driver records check program, timekeeping/payroll coordination with Corporate HR, Accounting/Payroll and Admin.
  • Ensuring random drug and alcohol screenings are conducted.
  • Ensuring periodic maintenance is performed on Company Vehicles, coordinating with Corporate Transportation Manager as necessary.
  • Ensuring staff maintain qualifications for their CDL such as bi-annual DOT physicals, random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Training Supervisor-Drivers and Drivers in their duties and responsibilities regarding safety of operation of vehicles and company driver policies.
  • Report any safety related transportation issues immediately to the Corporate Transportation Manager.
  • Randomly spot check pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections conducted by Drivers.
  • Forwarding fuel receipts and other contract related expense receipts to the Corporate Transportation Manager.
  • Certifying the daily Employee Record of Presence and forwarding ROP’s to Corporate Payroll Department.
  • Report any accidents, incidents and/or injuries associated to the Corporate Transportation Manager with associated documentation such as witness statements and video/photos of damages. Complete any required incident reports and/or documentation prior to your departure.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies; issue discipline in consultation with the Corporate HR Manager as necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Job is performed in a transportation office on client property. Job hours are approximately 8:00am to 5:00pm daily Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Operations are performed from 4:30am to 11:45pm on two shifts. Shift Supervisor-Driver’s are present throughout the workday. Daily exposure to various individuals whose medical history is unknown resulting in possible exposure to potentially contagious air and blood borne pathogens.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

  • Ability to pass pre-hire and random drug tests.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Driver’s License requirements for North Carolina.
