Job Title : Project Manager - Facilities and Maintenance

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact, complex projects within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. This role demands strategic oversight, expert project execution, and the ability to navigate cross-functional teams and stakeholder environments. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of managing large-scale initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple, concurrent complex projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets up to $30M, and communication strategies.
  • Implement cost control measures and risk mitigation strategies across multi-year programs.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and communication across internal teams, senior leadership, and external vendors.
  • Monitor project progress, manage scope changes, and ensure timely reporting of milestones and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GMP and FDA, and internal governance frameworks.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the evolution of project management best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, IT, and HR.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • PMP certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive project management experience, including leadership of large, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Smartsheet preferred).
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device environments, with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in drug development, regulatory submissions, or manufacturing projects is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing remote and geographically dispersed teams is a strong asset.
  • Facilities and Maintenance experience in highly controlled environments such as Med Device, Pharma, Nuclear, Lab for 5+ years.
  • Project Management experience for 3+ years.
  • Budget ownership of $3 million per year.
  • Experience coordinating with teams of 20+ people.
  • FDA Facilities and Maintenance experience is very helpful.

This position offers a hybrid work environment with a 3 / 2 split between remote and on-site work. The on-site environment is a cubicle setting. Pay and Benefits
