Job Overview

Be the bridge between customers, design, and sales—leading projects from concept to quote. You’ll meet with customers to capture their packaging needs, guide designs through development, coordinate with estimators, and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
  • Meet with customers to gather packaging requirements, specifications, and objectives.
  • Serve as the main customer contact throughout the design and quotation stages.
  • Present design concepts and quotations to customers in collaboration with sales as needed.
Project Coordination
  • Translate customer specifications into clear, actionable design briefs for the design team.
  • Oversee the design process to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with estimators to prepare accurate project quotations once designs are finalized.
  • Ensure smooth communication and handoff between design, estimating, and sales teams.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and approvals to maintain momentum and meet deadlines.
Communication & Liaison
  • Act as the bridge between the design team and sales team, ensuring both are aligned on project scope, customer expectations, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure follow-up responsibilities are properly transitioned to the sales team once a project moves forward.
  • Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders.
Quality & Process
  • Ensure customer requirements are captured accurately and designs meet quality standards.
  • Identify potential risks, delays, or challenges early and escalate/resolve them proactively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and recommending process enhancements
Skills and Qualifications
  • GED or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of project management or coordination experience, ideally in packaging, printing, or design-focused industries.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally between technical/design teams and customer-facing sales teams.
  • Knowledge of packaging processes and materials is a plus.
  • Direct customer interaction experience required.
