Job Description


We currently have an opening for a Contaminated Sites Project Manager to join our team in Edmonton. You are an intermediate to senior-level Project Manager with a track record of successfully delivering complex contaminated sites projects. Your experience across various projects and settings, along with your genuine interest in soil and water remediation, soil chemistry, field sampling, northern sites, or climate change, makes you an ideal candidate. You bring a positive and collaborative attitude and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment and independently on a variety of interesting projects. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Completing and contributing to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments including landfill/lagoon monitoring programs, implementing remediation techniques, and developing management strategies.
  • Liaising with clients, laboratories, and contractors.
  • Preparing work plans, proposals, and technical reports for projects.
  • Contributing to business development, including pro-active business development, leading, and assisting in proposal preparation.
  • Managing small and large-scale projects.
Job Requirements

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years post-graduation consulting experience in contaminated sites, includingproject management.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with a professional organization in Alberta (e.g. P.Ag, P.Geo or P.Chem).
  • Willingness to support projects in remote locations.
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation and regulatory requirements surrounding contaminated sites.
  • Self motivated with strong time management and organizational ability.
  • Ability to follow direction and take initiative.
  • Commitment to quality work.
  • Valid driver's licence.
