Job description

Build your Foundation with a Growing Company

Industra Construction Corp. is seeking a Project Manager to support the successful delivery of complex construction projects across Ontario.

We are looking for an experience Project Manager with a background in Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP), Pump Stations, Heavy Civil, Industrial, or closely related infrastructure projects.

Experience in these environments is essential, as our projects involve complex civil and mechanical construction requiring a strong understanding of heavy infrastructure.

While we value experience gained in sectors such as rail, roads/highways, residential, commercial, or high-rise construction, these backgrounds alone are unlikely to provide the specific experience required for this role. If your experience is primarily in these sectors, this position may not be the right fit.

Why Industra?

Industra is a rapidly growing, multi-disciplined, self-perform General Contractor with projects across British Columbia, Ontario, the North, and beyond. Having expanded from approximately 35 employees to more than 200 over the past three years, we're continuing to invest in our people as we deliver complex water and wastewater treatment, industrial, civil infrastructure, institutional, and remote construction projects across Canada.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with key milestones and client expectations.
  • Oversee coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
Contract Administration & Documentation
  • Manage all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and reporting systems.
Procurement & Subcontractor Management
  • Lead procurement activities including material sourcing, pricing, and subcontractor selection.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Cost Control & Reporting
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
  • Lead monthly reporting, progress billing, and financial reviews.
  • Monitor project performance across schedule, cost, manpower, safety, and quality.
Site & Stakeholder Management
  • Provide leadership and support to site teams, including Superintendents.
  • Conduct site visits as required to ensure project alignment and performance.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Experience delivering civil, industrial, infrastructure, or structural projects preferred.
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction management software.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.

This role supports projects across Ontario and may also provide support to projects throughout Eastern Canada. As a result, candidates must be willing and able to travel regularly to project sites, spending time in the field working alongside our operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
