Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial/Multi-Family
Location: Albert, Alberta
What you will be doing
- Identify and pursue opportunities with both new and existing clients to expand the business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
- Align project outcomes with client expectations and company standards, ensuring satisfaction on both ends.
- Uphold and promote the company’s brand values and reputation in all project dealings.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of complex projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to achieve project goals.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and consultants to ensure quality and adherence to project timelines.
- Contribute to a team that prioritizes client needs and excels in problem-solving.
- Maintain a strong emphasis on safety throughout all stages of the construction process, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Handle planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects, ensuring all phases are managed effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum CET. P.Eng will also be accepted.
- Minimum 5 Years direct Project Management Experience, 3 Years in a Senior Role. Preference for experience in a mid-sized company.
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Software.
- Experience managing construction crews.
- Experience in Public and Private contracting is considered an asset.
- Federal Top Secret Security Clearance is considered an asset.
- Ability to effectively time manage several demanding tasks and demands from various areas.
- Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset and provide effective solutions.
- Demonstrate sound decision-making abilities and good judgment in all project-related matters.
- Exhibits a high level of customer service when dealing with clients and external stakeholders.
- In-depth technical understanding of:
- Building envelope
- Pre-engineered buildings
- Design-build contracts
- Public tender calls
- Prequalification contracts
- Works well within a team environment and maintains a personable demeanor.
- Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Adapts and performs well in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
Salary/Rate Range: $110,000 – $135,000
