Job Description
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to maintain project integrity.
  • Manage procurement of materials and negotiate contracts with vendors.
  • Foster a positive and productive working environment among project teams.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Manager:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a project role with a mid-size to large general contractor with a mix of ICI and Civil Experience
  • Experience with commercial and institutional projects
  • Experience with civil experience - water/wastewater focus, small focus on bridge experience
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites as required
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgets, scheduling, and cost control
