Job summary

Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned company, seeks an experienced Project Manager, Building/Structural to join our Edmonton office. You will manage buildings projects for a variety of public and private sector clients, with hybrid working arrangements depending on position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' progressive experience in structural engineering and/or project management.
• Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage budget and schedule delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management of buildings projects for public and private sector clients.
• Undertake project planning, budgeting and scheduling for Building Structural projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage client relations; occasional travel.

Does this sound like you?

• An undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited university; post-graduate degree in Engineering or Project Management is an asset.
• Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
• 8+ years' progressive experience in structural engineering and/or project management.
• Proven project management experience.
• Technical expertise in the design and construction of buildings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage budget and schedule delivery.
• Superior planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Committed team player and highly self-motivated.
• This position will require occasional travel.
• Valid driver's license.
