POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Engineer will manage projects from conceptual and preliminary stages of the project design through to its completion.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Building Science project engineer with P. Eng. designation.
Experience with new construction or building envelope rehabilitation projects.
Minimum 5 years prior building science experience
A commitment to providing exceptional client service and developing technical expertise in building science
Self-motivated, fast learner with a desire to continually learn and grow
Duties include but are not limited to:
Site investigation and evaluation of existing buildings
Preparation of reports and studies
Preparation of designs for new construction and rehabilitation projects
Undertake/oversee building condition assessments, field investigation work such as leak investigations of all aspects of building envelope including roofs, walls, windows and foundations
Project management, contract administration and field reviews
Design and analysis to determine effective repair alternatives
Coordination with other engineering and architectural disciplines
