Project Manager, Building Automation (BAS/BMS), GTA

Join us at Siemens as a Project Manager, Building Automation (BAS/BMS), GTA.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Project Manager to oversee Building Automation projects, ensuring successful delivery and compliance with safety standards. You will collaborate with project teams, manage project timelines, and oversee onsite and offsite construction activities within your region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage multiple projects following established project management methodologies.
2. Create detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet critical milestones.
3. Lead technical teams through planning, estimation, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, and warranty phases.
4. Ensure project profitability and compliance with safety and building regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience in Building Automation (BAU) and BAS technology.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven project management skills; experience as a Field Technician transitioning into a PM role is also considered.
• Strong knowledge of building and mechanical systems, standards, and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Visio, and Project.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred Assets

• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Previous experience as a Field Technician in Building Automation.
