STV Project Manager - Baggage Handling Systems (BHS)

STV is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) to join our national aviation team. This position involves supporting aviation clients across the country with project management, planning, coordination, and implementation of BHS projects. The role requires regular stakeholder communication and oversight of project progress.

Location: Must be within a reasonable commute to a major airline hub, such as DFW, IAH, ATL, EWR, ORD, LGA, SAT, JFK, etc.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the primary contact for airport leadership
• Collaborating with TSA Regional Deployment Coordinators and contract personnel
• Leading construction and implementation teams
• Resolving issues between design and construction/implementation teams
• Organizing and documenting project meetings
• Engaging stakeholders and operations through coordination, communication, and conflict resolution
• Reviewing design responses to RFIs and submittals for compliance
• Participating in commissioning and testing of BHS systems to ensure standards are met
• Developing and monitoring project schedules and deliverables
• Managing changes through the Change Management process
• Coordinating all BHS elements with other program components including design, schedule, cost, procurement, installation, ORAT, commissioning, training, and close-out

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing or implementing aviation baggage handling system projects
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong project planning and management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, including client presentations
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Understanding of TSA's Planning Guidelines and Design Standards

The ideal candidate will take full ownership of projects and work independently. Some remote work may be permitted, but this role requires full-time on-site presence. STV values a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Compensation Range:

$160,926.84 - $214,569.12
