Job description

STV is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Aviation (Structures) to join our national aviation team. This position may assist aviation clients across the country in need of our services. Candidates should be within a reasonable commute to a major airline hub, such as DFW, IAH, ATL, EWR, ORD, LGA, SAT, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Organize cross-functional activities to coordinate project tasks, including deliverables, schedule, and budget.
2. Manage and direct proposal development, project initiation, execution, control, and closeout, including handling project budgets, change requests, and invoicing.
3. Participate in or lead marketing efforts, proposal preparations, and presentations for project acquisition.
4. Plan the complete project execution and develop the project manual.
5. Monitor manpower requirements against the project budget, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk to optimize client service and fiscal responsibility.
6. Establish and maintain communication channels with contractors and clients regarding project planning, start dates, and progress.
7. Oversee the project from initiation to delivery, including manpower planning and updates.
8. Form and lead a project team, coordinating responsibilities and tasks according to schedule.
9. Handle submissions to authorities for code compliance and permits.
10. Conduct regular project progress meetings to ensure contract terms and specifications are met.
11. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies, addressing manpower, equipment, materials, and quality issues promptly.
12. Supervise, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure operational efficiency.

Compensation Range: $112,253.66 - $149,671.54
