A leading healthcare institution in Toronto seeks a temporary full-time Project Manager for Acute Oncology. The ideal candidate will manage complex cancer care projects and engage with key stakeholders. Candidates should have a Master's degree and a minimum of 3 years' hospital experience. The Odette Cancer Centre has an immediate need for a temporary full-time (3 years) Project Manager, Acute Oncology. This role focuses on the development and implementation of Cancer Care at Home initiatives including remote patient monitoring, hospital to home bundle, and other related priority projects. The preferred candidate will be an experienced health system professional with a strong understanding of the broader health system landscape, funding and accountability, and knowledge of hospital operations. Experience in developing and implementing sustainable solutions for complex cancer care issues across multiple stakeholders is expected; program evaluation experience is a plus.
This role reports to and works closely with the Director of Operations and Odette Chief and Regional Vice President, along with the Physician Lead for Acute Oncology. The Project Manager, Acute Oncology will engage with key stakeholders across the organization, including community integration partnerships and outpatient care, and will interact with external partners including members of the North Toronto Ontario Health Team and Community Service Providers.
