Responsibilities:

As a Design Manager, you will take a leading role in coordinating design activities across pre-construction and delivery phases.
You`ll collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality, programme, and cost targets are achievedbringing together great design and great delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate design teams, subconsultants, and design-related subcontractors
• Drive design delivery from pre-construction through execution
• Chair and minute design meetings, ensuring alignment and clarity
• Implement and uphold Design Management Procedures
• Provide technical input on planning, building regulations, procurement, and strategic design risks
• Lead value engineering initiatives, identifying opportunities for smarter solutions
• Mentor Design Coordinators and contribute to team development
• Support contractor proposals and employer requirements
• Ensure statutory compliance and manage interface between design and construction teams

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Design-related discipline
